| Problems with Payment |
| Once you have
signed up for a membership account with the Spanking
Community, several things need to happen in order
for you to access your account. Before
anything can happen, your credit card must be
verified by our system. This is a process that
happens automatically. If there is a problem,
the processing system will send you a message.
The most common problems are
- A mistyped credit card
number
- A mistyped expiration
date
- A mistyped CSV number
- The system is unable to
match the address and phone number you entered
as your billing address.
If any of these situations
arise, your credit card will not be charged and you
will be given an error message. You will need to
reenter the information. If you believe that
the information you have entered is correct and you
are still getting an error message, you should
contact your issuing bank. The issuing bank is the
only place that can help resolve these types of
issues. |
| I did not
receive the confirmation email and/or the activation
email messages |
| If you received
the activation email and were able to activate your
account, everything is fine. If you did not
receive either email, this may or may not be a
problem.
- Sometimes, albeit
rarely, it can take up to 24 hours for the
emails to be delivered. In most instances
the emails are delivered within the hour.
Delays are usually caused by internet traffic
congestion or slowed email server processing.
- Many people have
messaging rules or spam filters in place that
effectively block email from new sources.
If you have these in place, check to make sure
these are not preventing you from receiving the
emails.
If neither of these apply,
then you can request a new activation key from the
system. Go to the top of this page and click
the link entitled "New Key Request". You
should then receive an activation email message
within the hour (usually quicker, but sometimes
longer). If you do not receive the email in a
reasonable amount of time, please contact us at
support@spankingcommunity.com.

| I clicked the
hyperlink to activate my account, but it did not
work |
| If you do not have
cookies enabled, your account will not be activated.
If you have any programs on your system that manage
cookies, please consult that program's user manual
for instructions for allowing a cookie from
spankingcommunity.com to be placed on your system.
If you do not use any
programs to manage cookies, you can enable your
system to allow the spankingcommunity.com cookie
without changing other settings on your computer by
doing the following using Internet Explorer version
5.5 or higher.

Open the
Internet
Explorer.

Go to Tools – Internet
Options and select the privacy tab.

To configure cookies
for specific sites individually, press the
“Edit” button.

Type in the domain (spankingcommunity.com)
in the “Address of Web Site” text box.

Press the Allow
button.

Click OK and Click OK
again to exit the Internet Explorer Options.
Next, you will need to
request a new key. Go to the top of this page
and click the link entitled "New Key Request".
You should then receive an activation email message
within the hour (usually quicker, but sometimes
longer). |
| I changed
computers and now I cannot login |
| When you purchase
a membership with Spanking Community, it is licensed
for a single computer. This will not prevent
you from accessing the membership area with a
different computer, but you will need to request a
new activation key. Go to the top of this page
and click the link entitled "New Key Request". Once
you request a new key, it will disable the old key. |
| I cannot login
anymore |
| There are two
possible reasons for not being able to login in
anymore.
- Your account expired.
- The
spankingcommunity.com cookie on your system was
deleted of damaged. Go to the top of
this page and click the link entitled "New Key
Request".

| I have received
several activation key emails, but none of them work |
| What has happened
is that the key you have attempted to activate is
not the current key. Each new key request
deactivates the prior key. There are two
options you have at this point.
- You can wait until the
last activation key email is sent and then click
the hyperlink to activate the account.
This generally works best when you know how many
times you requested a key.
- Contact support at
support@spankingcommunity.com. The
support staff will clear your account of
existing keys.
